City Attorney Carmen Trutanich was joined by thousands of children in celebration of the 31st Annual “Miracle on First Street” event in LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division. The annual parade and toy giveaway is held in support of disadvantaged and at-risk youth in the surrounding community. More than 10,000 inner-city children attended the parade and received toys, goody bags and other holiday treats from organizers.
This year also marks the 40th Anniversary of the Hollenbeck Police Business Council and the 20th Anniversary of the Inner-City Games, sponsors of the Miracle on First Street festivities.
