Los Angeles: LAPD detectives arrested a child molest suspect and are asking for public’s help in locating additional children who may have been victims of Peter McNeal.
On December 13th, 2011, Investigators from The LAPD’s Operations West Bureau Sexual Assault Detail arrested 45-year-old Peter Ivan McNeal, a resident of Los Angeles, for Lewd Acts Upon a Child Under 10.
Charges were filed against McNeal by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and McNeal was released upon posting $250,000 bail. For McNeal to work with a bail bonds company, he would have to come up with $25,000. All Los Angeles Bail Bonds companies are regulated by the California Department of Insurance. The rate for the bail bondsman‘s fee is 10%. If there is a bail bonds agent that is charging less or even more, do not trust them and move on to a different company.
McNeal is a musician in various bands, which perform at various local venues as well as nationally and internationally. McNeal was previously arrested by the Sexual Assault Detail in 2009 on a separate case involving the attempted molestation of a young girl. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office prosecuted McNeal in that case.
