PORT CLINTON, OHIO — Common Grounds, a Port Clinton-based coffee shop already well known for providing meaningful work experience and quality of life for the benefit of adults with disabilities, ups the ante yet again for the greater good.

On the eve of Lake Erie Shores & Island’s Biggest Week in American Birding event, the folks at Common Grounds took it upon themselves to make a significant contribution in the realm of bird conservation by offering 100% shade grown coffee.

Shade grown coffee not only supports bird conservation, but is rainforest sustainable and Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center Certified.  The various coffee flavors offered even have clever names like Chestnut-Sided Warbler Medium Roast and Baltimore Oriole Decaf.
