Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary has issued a call for participation for its Veterans Resource Fair, to be held March 24, 2012. The one-day event is designed to provide information, support, and services to veterans in a single, convenient location. The Veterans Resource Fair will be held in conjunction with the return of the Dignity® Memorial Vietnam Wall, a traveling ¾ scale replica of the original Wall in Washington, D.C. Participants are being sought who provide services including individual and family counseling, education and training, employment assistance, financial matters, government programs, healthcare, legal and business matters, and housing, among others.

The nominal cost of participation covers the cost of a 10’ x 10’ booth, a canopy, a table and two chairs. Non-profit discounts are available. “We are honored to take the lead in providing a central location for veterans to come and gain information on essential programs, counseling, and support, as we host the return of the Vietnam Wall to Rose Hills,” said Bruce Lazenby, executive director of business development, Rose Hills. “By bringing organizations and veterans together in one location, we hope to expand the breadth of services veterans can access and utilize.” Organizations wishing more information or to participate should contact Bonnie Quintanilla, (818) 681-5777 or Phyllis Grabot, (805) 341-7269, or email us at corridorcomms@corridorcomms.com, immediately. Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out.
