The Mid-Valley Community Police Council is currently considering candidates for two very important Executive Board seats. We are a 30+ year old 501 © (3) and our mission is to support the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department – here, in the San Fernando Valley. We meet once per month and offer cutting-edge public safety information, crime updates and prevention intelligence to our general membership. The funds we raise go directly to those who “Protect and Serve”. We provide facility improvements to the station, supplemental training and equipment for the Officers, we support LAPD’s Youth Programs and much more!
We present two well attended, highly successful fundraisers per year in addition to the funds we secure through tax-deductible donations made by corporate and business partners in our community. We are strictly a volunteer organization who is motivated to support this critically important city-funded department and we’re proud of the work we do! We’re greatly appreciated by the Officers and Command Staff at the Van Nuys Division Station and we’re cognizant of the benefits delivered to the community that our collaboration creates.
