The Los Angeles Law Library is offering a training session “Locating Legal Documents” on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
The session is designed as an introduction to using the LA Law Library resources and electronic databases to locate court filings. Topics include basic information regarding pleadings and briefs; instruction on finding briefs, in both print and electronic formats; instruction on using Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) to find documents from Federal Court; finding briefs filed in California Courts of Appeal; and guidance on locating California district court filings.
