At the annual meeting of the Corporate Travel Center I had a most interesting conversation with Steve Avalos of AMA Waterways, one of the leading providers of river cruising. Steve shared with me news of AMA’s new combination land and river cruising on the African continent. Here’s more information about AMA’S Africa Safaris and Wildlife Cruises on board the Ms Zambezi Queen.  The 16-Day Stars Of Africa itinerary includes three nights in Cape Town, South Africa; three nights in the Kruger National Park area, South Africa; and one night in Johannesburg, South Africa before embarking on a four-night safari cruise and ending with two nights at Victoria Falls. From $8,995 per person, double occupancy.
