VAN NUYS, CA — Beginning this past Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department VanNuys Division was under the watch of two new captains, as former captain Paul Snell hasbeen transferred to the Southwest Division of LAPD, which
encompasses the Universityof Southern California and the Coliseum. Taking over for Snell as Area Captain is Ivan Minsal, the former Valley Traffic Division Captain. Taking over as Patrol Captain is Brian Pratt, former Patrol Captain in the Northeast Division. The men and women of Van Nuys Area would like to thank Captain Paul Snell for his outstanding work ethic, dedication and commitment to Van Nuys Division and the Van Nuys community. We all would liketo take this opportunity to thank Captain Snell for his guidance, leadership, and providing an outstanding work environment to all of us. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors. We’ll miss you Captain Snell!!!
