Tucked away in hip Adams Morgan, Smoke & Barrel offers everything from vegan wings to jalapeno grits and sweet potato donuts. They have a host of meat options as well, enjoy pulled pork, brisket and BBQ chicken.
Hill Country BBQ

Hill Country BBQ has been a staple in the D.C. BBQ scene for years. On Monday’s don’t miss their special night where for $27 you can enjoy unlimited BBQ and Sides! They offer Texas BBQ so fasten your seatbelts for authentic hickory flavor. Don’t miss their pop-up restaurant on the National Building Museum’s West Lawn Thursday to Saturday from 4-9 p.m. (until September 1)
