Lodge1The lodge is owned by Annie and Mike Hopper who are hands-on owners, overseeing every aspect of the Lodge’s operations and your onsite hosts. The Hoppers began construction on the new lodge in the summer of 2001 with the idea of preserving a piece of Alaska’s pioneer part and a new commitment to creating a new tradition of accommodations as a gateway to the wilderness of Alaska and the frontier of the north. The two-story timber-frame lodge is the essence of their imagination and plans for showcasing Alaska using local timbers and showcasing Alaskan artists’ works displayed throughout the lodge.
