Six of the Seven Candidates Are Confirmed To Attend, Tanaka & Hellmold are in, Rogers has Prior Commitments
VAN NUYS, CA — The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is hosting a debate between the candidates for Los Angeles County Sheriff at its General Meeting this Wednesday, March 12, starting at 7:00 pm. The debate will be held at 6262 Van Nuys Boulevard and will be moderated by Council President George Christopher Thomas.
“Everyone on the council is looking forward to this debate, and the opportunity to discuss the public safety issues facing our county. We are allowing a two minute opening statement from the candidates, five questions from Council-members, five questions from the general public, then a two minute closing statement,” said Thomas.
The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is the largest Neighborhood Council in the San Fernando Valley, and the second largest of all 95 Neighborhood Council’s in Los Angeles.
