San Fernando Valley , CA — Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield (D-San Fernando Valley) has announced several Cash for College workshops that will be held in the San Fernando Valley, The workshops will help college students apply for financial aid, leading up to the March 2 application deadline for the state-funded Cal Grants program. “With tuition costs rising, financial aid is even more important to ensure that California’s working families can send their kids to college,” said Blumenfield who is set to launch a month-long, bi-lingual public service announcement campaign about Cal Grants in the Valley. “Our public universities offer a world class education through a learning environment shaped by groundbreaking research, talented students, and dedicated faculty.
