Avoid Parking Hassles, Busy Streets by Using Public Transit

WHAT: As June draws to a close, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is revving up its engines as the official transit partner for two fabulous PRIDE celebrations: the Culver City PRIDE Ride and Rally, and the San Fernando Valley PRIDE March and Festival! Whether you’re cruising in Culver City’s RIDE or marching through Van Nuys, Metro’s got your ride covered with convenient and eco-friendly options.

As part of its Ride with Pride campaign, several Metro buses are adorned with vibrant Pride themed designs, showcasing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and enhancing the festive atmosphere for riders all summer long. In addition, specially designed Pride commemorative TAP cards will be available at select ticket vending machines and will be distributed at both events.

In addition, Metro Bike Share is teaming up with Culver City PRIDE to provide bikes for this year’s PRIDE Ride. To reserve a bike, riders simply select the “I need to reserve a Metro Bike” option when registering for the event at Eventbrite.
