WHAT: As June draws to a close, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is revving up its engines as the official transit partner for two fabulous PRIDE celebrations: the Culver City PRIDE Ride and Rally, and the San Fernando Valley PRIDE March and Festival! Whether you’re cruising in Culver City’s RIDE or marching through Van Nuys, Metro’s got your ride covered with convenient and eco-friendly options.
In addition, Metro Bike Share is teaming up with Culver City PRIDE to provide bikes for this year’s PRIDE Ride. To reserve a bike, riders simply select the “I need to reserve a Metro Bike” option when registering for the event at Eventbrite. WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, June 28 Culver City PRIDE Ride and Rally
PRIDE Ride 4 p.m. Syd Kronenthal Park 3459 McManus Avenue Culver City, CA 90232 Rally 6 p.m. For just $3.50 round-trip, Culver City PRIDE ride-goers can take Metro bus lines 105 and 207 to La Cienega/Jefferson. For the PRIDE rally, take Metro bus 33 to Venice Blvd./Culver City. San Fernando Valley PRIDE
March and Rally 11 a.m. Van Nuys Blvd. and Gault St. Festival 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. For just $3.50 round-trip, San Fernando Valley PRIDE-goers can take Metro bus lines 162, 233, 761 to the March and Rally starting point at Van Nuys Blvd. and Sherman Way. For the festival, PRIDE-goers can take Metro bus lines 76, 154, 165, 233, 237, G Line to the Van Nuys Civic Center.
