PRIMM VALLEY, CA – Located right on the state line between California and Nevada lies Primm Valley Golf Club. This gem on the way to Las Vegas is well worth the stop, boasting two full length 18 hole golf courses designed by Tom Fazio. The Lakes Course has water throughout, while the Desert Course incorporates the local landscape as part of the experience.

However, the practice facility is one of the best in America, with multiple putting greens, a short game area, and a driving range that could accommodate a small army. When you arrive at Primm Valley Golf Resort, the draw and allure of spending the day practicing can be just as strong as wanting to go out and play the two golf courses.

The courses are always in spectacular shape, and some years cracking the “Top 100” golf course list in America. Playing from any set of tees will be a challenge, and backing it up to the tips will be a proper test for scratch golfers and high handicappers alike. The best approach shot is driving out to Las Vegas, playing one of the courses in the afternoon, then staying at the state line in order to play the other course early in the morning before continuing on to Sin City.
