The multi-million-dollar redesign includes refined aesthetics, versatile configurations and sustainable upgrades encompassing over 24,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space on the first, third and eighth floors in the hotel. The newly renovated spaces have been thoughtfully redesigned to cater to the evolving needs of today’s discerning event planners and guests offering exceptional flexibility for a variety of events including but not limited to corporate meetings, weddings, galas, and social gatherings.

Located on the third floor, the grand Vieux Carré Ballroom was re-imagined with rich gold ceiling bays and elegant crystal chandeliers, soft white walls with decorative wainscoting and color accents of deep blue hues to create a beautiful, luxurious backdrop for meetings, weddings and social events. Floor-to-ceiling windows with access to a balcony overlooking the French Quarter offer an authentic New Orleans view to complement the room. Step out of the ballroom and unwind by the green wall with soft seating or stroll further down the foyer by the meeting areas and network with your colleagues along the way. Take in the natural light in several of the meeting rooms on the third and eighth floors and explore the possibility of extending your event and utilizing the large outdoor terrace spaces. The hotel’s JW Garden is located on one of the outdoor terraces and used to grow fresh produce and herbs which are used in recipes and cocktails served for hotel events and in the Lobby Lounge.

Along with the redesign of existing meeting and event spaces, JW Marriott New Orleans debuted its newest addition to the hotel, Promenade. This development adds 2,485 square feet of flexible meeting space on the first floor across from Fogo de Chão and near the Lobby Lounge. Frosted glass windows add a layer of privacy to the event rooms, which are ideal for board meetings, smaller breakout sessions or receptions of up to 200. The contemporary décor features brass fixtures, textured wallcovering, a black and white geometric patterned carpet and fresh greenery.

The hotel also added a new Studio office on the third floor for meeting planners to utilize while their meetings are on-site. The room offers four powered workstations, leather armchairs and a refrigerator.
