For over 60 years, OzCon International has brought fans together to honor L. Frank Baum and the Land of Oz. This year’s event promises an unforgettable blend of nostalgia and new discoveries—right in the heart of the media capital of the world.

2025 Highlights – This year’s OzCon International will explore the expansive and ever-evolving world of Oz, with a special focus on the Walt Disney Company’s beloved Oz classics and hidden gems. Highlights include:
- 40th Anniversary of Return to Oz: A deep dive into this cult favorite, celebrating its lasting impact on Oz fandom and cult film history.
- Disney’s Oz Legacy: An exploration of Walt Disney’s ambitious Oz projects, including The Rainbow Road to Oz, his early attempt to create a sequel to The Wizard of Oz.
- Celebrating Wicked and The Wizard of Oz: A look at the Wicked films and their influence on modern musical theater and film. We’ll also honor MGM’s The Wizard of Oz and its iconic star, Judy Garland.
- 125th Anniversary of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: A celebration of the original 1900 book by L. Frank Baum and its lasting impact on literature, pop culture, and beyond.
