Years ago, we stayed at Paradise Point, and had a most excellent and lovely weekend.  At the time my parents were building wineries in Napa, and I fashioned myself as a wine connoisseur.  So, I went over to the local Bev-Mo and picked out a couple nice bottles of red and white wine.  After all, we were staying on the beach in San Diego, and a nice glass of wine at sunset while sitting around a bonfire is a pleasant activity from time to time.

Roasting smores at a bonfire on the beach is a most enjoyable activity.

This was B.C., or as we say, “Before Children.”  But I remember thinking how great this place would be if I had kids.  And I watched cute families going swimming together, playing miniature golf together, and enjoying themselves immensely.  In the hospitality business, Paradis Point is considered an all-inclusive on property resort.  Meaning you do not need to leave for anything, there are plenty of activities on site, as well as restaurants, a spa and a concierge that can plan just about anything for you.  And if you do everything you can do there, and exhaust every last possibility of fun, Sea World is right next door.

Paradise Point does have it all and is a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend or mid-week jaunt from normal daily life.  From taking surfing lessons to roasting smores on the beach, to spending the entire day at one of the five pools, or at all five pools, Paradise Point is one of the best places to stay in the San Diego area.  (For more information, or to book a room, please visit https://paradisepoint.com/resort/)

Bottle of red, bottle of white, I think yes is the answer to that one Billy Joel.
