MODESTO, CA – Meandering along the Tuolumne River, Dryden Park in Modesto is a highly regarded and beloved community golf course in a wonderful park like atmosphere.
Starting off with an elevated par 4, the first hole begs for you to take out the driver, swing for the fences and rip a ball right down the middle of the fairway. From there, holes two, three and four parallel the Tuolumne River as you enjoy the ambience and fresh air while out there playing one of Modesto’s finest golf courses. The course itself has mature trees and wide forgiving fairways, and is designed in the classical parkland concept so familiar to all of us who have golfed for years. You will also find medium sixed greens that are strategically guarded by small bunkers.
The course is ideal for beginners and those single digit handicappers looking to bag some birdies and go low. There is also a calm and peaceful feeling there at Dryden Park, especially after getting out onto the course and playing along the river.
