Audition Registration Packets Due By Sept. 26 For Annual Las Vegas Senior Idol Event

LAS VEGAS, NV — The city of Las Vegas invites residents ages 50 years and older to audition for the 18th annual Las Vegas Senior Idol Showcase. The variety show will be held at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 Brush St., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. and will feature entertainment by amateur and professional performers.

All who wish to perform must audition at the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave., Oct. 21, 22 or 23, between 12 and 5 p.m., by appointment; audition registration packets are available at the center and also may be requested in an email to rnomaaea@lasvegasnevada.gov or downloaded here. Completed registration forms must be submitted at the Howard Lieburn Active Adult Center, located at 6230 Garwood Ave., by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025. Audition times will be scheduled from completed applications.

Auditions will be held for solo and group performances in the following categories: vocals, dance, musical instruments or comedy. Acts cannot exceed four minutes, including set up and stage exit. In addition to the completed forms, a picture must be submitted of the act (details provided in the registration packet). Performers may audition for more than one act, but separate forms and photos are required.

Showcase tickets sell out every year for the single performance. Tickets are priced at $5 and will be available at all city of Las Vegas senior centers starting Nov. 10, 2025.
