The Estate is home to the par 72 Melbourne Course, which this year celebrates its 20th Anniversary, and offers a beautiful game through the 18th Century parkland & across the River Lea, and the par 73 Palmerston Course, which takes golfers through the mature woodland surroundings of Brocket Hall.

Brocket Hall also offers the state-of-the-art Palmerston Golf Academy with indoor and outdoor practice zones, chipping and putting areas and a par 3 6-hole short course, considered to be one of the best practice facilities in England. The Estate also has three top professionals on hand to guide both experienced players and beginners:

James Fuller – Head Professional

James turned professional in 1996 and has over 18 years’ experience of coaching golf, having taught alongside such names as David Leadbetter, Pete Cowen and Denis Pugh. James’ simplistic approach to the golf swing allows all standard of player to clearly understand their fault and their fix.

Simon Garner – Resident Teaching Professional

Simon has 25 years of experience as a PGA Golf Professional and has worked at Brocket Hall Golf Club since 2000. Simon specialises in a number of aspects, from the mental and physical demands of the game, to focusing on putting and scoring shots within 100 yards.

Robert Godber – Resident Teaching Professional

Robert became the Touring Professional for Brocket Hall in 2001 after a successful amateur career. In 2004, Robert joined the Academy team to concentrate on coaching and developed the Palmerston Golf Academy Junior Programme.

As well as the top of the range courses and golf academy, Brocket Hall Golf Club is also home to the Watershyppes Clubhouse – which provides the perfect place for members to freshen-up and dine after a round of golf, where a delicious menu is served daily with food available in the Member’s bar and lounge as well as the main dining room.

Brocket Hall also offers Michelin-starred dining at its Auberge du Lac restaurant and caters for weddings as well as private and corporate events.
