Ventura's Farmers Market

VENTURA, CA — The Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association has announced its holiday schedule for its Ventura locations. The Downtown Ventura Market, held on the corners of East Santa Clara and Palm Streets from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon., will be open both Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, 2016 and New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 3, 2016 and will be open regular market hours.

The Wednesday market held at the Pacific View Mall, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will remain open during the holiday season. The weekly markets offer shoppers delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, meat products, herbs, honey, eggs, nuts, olive oil, jams & jellies, fresh cut flowers, potted plants, and much more.

About the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association — The Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association serves the community of Ventura with two Markets — Wednesdays at the Pacific View Mall, front west parking lot on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Saturdays in Downtown Ventura on the corners of East Santa Clara and Palm Streets from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The Association also has two other locations — The Thousand Oaks Farmers’ Market is held Thursdays at The Oaks Shopping Center at the east end parking lot, Wilbur Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m., and the Santa Clarita Farmers’ Market is held on Sundays at the College of the Canyons, parking lot 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
