VEDC (Valley Economic Development Center) is proud to announce their Women’s Business Center (WBC) has moved back to the northeast San Fernando Valley community of Pacoima. The WBC can be found at 13172 Van Nuys Blvd., Pacoima, CA, where they will continue to provide consulting, training and lending services to small business owners in the Santa Clarita, Antelope and San Fernando Valleys. “VEDC is very happy to have the opportunity to move our WBC back into an area that is not only underserved but also geographically accessible to our northern counties,” stated Bob Holguin, VEDC Director of Business Services.

“Although the name says Women’s Business Center our doors are open to ALL entrepreneurs – regardless of gender.” The WBC represents a national network of nearly 100 educational centers designed to assist entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses. VEDC’s Women’s Business Center offers business counseling, workshops and financing options for small business owners with microloan amounts as low as $1,000. In the last year, VEDC’s Women’s Business Center has helped 786 businesses, generated over $1 million in business loans and helped create 134 new businesses. The effort has resulted in the creation of 35 jobs and the realization of many more dreams.
