The Grove Golf Course

HERTFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND — The Grove features championship golf and luxurious accommodations in Hertfordshire, England. Often referred to as “London’s Country Estate,” The Grove, formerly the home of the Earl of Clarendon, has been restored into a luxurious five star 217-room resort destination only 30 minutes from London’s West End and Heathrow International Airport.

Kyle Phillips designed this well-known golf course in England after his stunning success at Kingsbarns – creating a superb design that fits with the quintessentially “English parkland” feel of the estate. Troon Golf manages golf operations at this beautifully appointed facility, named in Golf Monthly’s list of the top 120 courses in Great Britain and Ireland and the venue where Tiger Woods won the first American Express World Golf Championships.
The Grove’s golf facilities are housed in a restored stable block, a Grade II listed historic building featuring the original clock tower from the estate, that overlooks the 9th and 18th greens.

The Grove is proud to host a number of Dave Pelz schools during 2014.  Dave Pelz has dedicated the past 35 years to studying the game, revealing better ways for golfers to practice and play, and coaching some of the best players in the world on their short game and putting. Ten of Pelz’s professional students, including current star-pupil Phil Mickelson, have won a total of 19 majors. His namesake golf schools brings Pelz’s proven golf instruction to players of every skill level.  The 3-Day Scoring Game School is the premier Dave Pelz-designed golf instruction experience. Incorporating video, feedback devices and the latest Pelz research, these innovative golf schools are designed to help golfers play all the shots on and around the green with confidence and consistency.  Much more than a simple “golf lesson”, these 3-day golf schools are the most effective and permanent way to lower your handicap.  (www.thegrove.co.uk)
