This May 3-5, 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the annual festival.

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (March 25, 2019) – St Francis de Sales School, a pre-k through 8th grade Catholic School in Sherman Oaks, today announces the return and 25th anniversary of their annual Festival. From May 3rd through May 5th, the festival features a weekend of fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy rides, food, fireworks, silent & live auctions, and entertainment. Each year, the SFDS Festival grows – more than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event this year. Best of all, admission is free!

For the 25th anniversary celebration, the St Francis de Sales Festival will be themed the 25th Anniversary of the Silver Screen and will feature a festival of films produced by students in the St Francis de Sales School. Additionally, the St Francis de Sales Festival always features non-stop live music. Headlining Saturday evening’s activities will be Bill Champlin and Wundrground. Led by Bill Champlin, Multi-Grammy Award winner previously of the band Chicago, the band hails many talented artists like: Tamara Champlin, award winning singer songwriter; Gary Falcone, studio singer player performed with Justin Timberlake, recorded with Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Don Henley, Chicago, and many more; Burleigh Drummond, Multi-Grammy nominated drummer of the band Ambrosia; Mary Harris, keyboard player and singer from the band Ambrosia; Bill Bodine, Grammy Award winning bass player. Westcoast Magazine awarded Bill Champlin and Wundrground Album of the Year for “Bleeding Secrets”

“What began 25 years ago as a fundraiser for the school, has turned into an annual community event for Sherman Oaks and neighboring areas,” says Marie Madden, Chair of the Festival Committee that puts on the event.
