From elegant and modern to charming and traditional, guests have the option to reserve the entire property for a private retreat to reconnect.

In downtown Napa, just steps away from boutique shops; restaurants; and wine tasting rooms, the Inn on Randolph located in Napa’s historic district offers five guest rooms in the main house as well as five independent cottages, with an outdoor garden terrace for gathering. The recently opened R Inn Napa, a re-imagined historic building converted into a contemporary boutique inn with a private urban feel features 10 guest rooms, each with skylights, and a secluded outdoor courtyard. The White House Napa Valley Inn features 17 rooms and a lush outdoor garden, complete with private pool-side cabanas. The Cottages of Napa Valley offer eight unique private cottages centered around a large lawn with outdoor firepits and ample seating; while River Pointe Napa Valley features cozy vacation studios as well as one-bedroom cottages located along the Napa River Trail. The Setting Inn provides a true country escape on its one-acre property just north of Napa off Highway 29. The remodeled 1901 farmhouse features less than ten rooms, with an adjacent separate two-bedroom cottage.

In downtown Yountville, the Napa Valley Railway Inn has transformed eight historic steam-era railcars into individual guest accommodations, each with a private bath and patio. Lavender Inn and Mason Fleurie each offer rooms with private entrances; some through a private patio. Guests may enjoy breakfast in the garden or have it delivered to their room or private patio. For a more secluded experience, Poetry Inn’s five guest rooms overlook the Stags Leap District, each with a private terrace and indoor and outdoor shower.

St. Helena’s Vineyard Country Inn features 21 suites situated on an acre of landscaped gardens overlooking more than 100 Cabernet Sauvignon grape vines. In Calistoga, Brannan Cottage Inn, built in 1860, and just steps from shops and restaurants on the town’s main street, Lincoln Avenue, features six rooms and a large wrap around porch for afternoon gatherings. Chateau de Vie is an elegant country house with five suites surrounded by formal gardens and a heated lap pool. The Bungalows at Calistoga are three modern craftsman style homes, each with large private outdoor space, that accommodate up to four guests. Cottage Grove Inn features 16 private cottages, each with a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub for two. And, for an adults only getaway, the five room Francis House, originally built in 1886 and listed on the Register of Historic Places, has been transformed as Calistoga’s newest luxury B&B where guests may relax by the pool; or play bar billiards in the game room.

Multi-Generational Retreats:

Napa Valley’s resorts and full-service hotels cater to the entire family. In Napa, Silverado Resort and Spa offers one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, as well as golf, tennis, and swimming pools. Embassy Suites Napa Valley features both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a children’s menu and bicycle rentals. The Carneros Resort and Spa offers 103 standalone cottages, residences, and luxury private homes, providing ample space for all family members. Private Guest Houses

Surrounded by rolling vineyards, Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa features two-and-three-bedroom homes equipped with a gated entrance; gourmet kitchen and dining room; courtyard, and rooftop sun deck for added privacy. The five-bedroom Villa at The Estate Yountville, with ensuite baths, accommodates up to ten guests and also includes a private swimming pool. Also in Yountville, Bardessono offers three new Maple Grove Villas which may be booked individually or as a three-bedroom retreat providing more than 3700 square feet of space. Guests also have exclusive access to the property’s hybrid Lexus.

Auberge du Soleil features two 1800 square foot, two-bedroom, two-bath private Maisons, which come with the use of a dedicated Mercedes-Benz.
