PASADENA, CA – For the first time in its 137-year history, the Rose Parade® presented by Honda will stream LIVE on TikTok, introducing a brand-new way for audiences around the world to experience America’s New Year Celebration®. In partnership with TikTok, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® will bring a fresh, creator-driven perspective to the Parade with a one-hour LIVE broadcast beginning Thursday, January 1 at 8 a.m. PT on @rose.parade and @TikTok.
The TikTok LIVE will be co-hosted by dynamic creators Pressley Hosbach (@pressley) and Markell Washington (@markellwashington1), who will take viewers behind the scenes and onto the iconic corner of Orange Grove and Colorado Boulevards — the official starting point of the Rose Parade. Their coverage will offer a lively, creator-forward vantage point of the Parade’s show-stopping floral floats, spirited marching bands and world-class equestrian units.
Joining the co-hosts throughout the hour are two special guests who bring unique expertise and enthusiasm to the broadcast:
- @brandontheplantguy, whose thriving plant business and interactive LIVE shopping streams have captivated millions, will share insights into the artistry and craftsmanship behind the Parade’s floral masterpieces.
- @nanakakyiri, equestrian creator and host of The Horse Girls Podcast, will lend her perspective on the Parade’s renowned equestrian units and the skill, training, and tradition they represent.
