Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Area, Sexual Assault detectives, are seeking additional victims and witnesses in a series of sexual batteries that occurred in the Silver Lake Reservoir Area.
On March 25, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., a 25 -year-old female victim reported she was exercising in the park when a man approached her from behind and groped her breast area. The suspect then left the area in an unknown direction.
A second and similar incident took place on April 18, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m. A 33-year-old female victim reported she was exercising in the park when a man approached her from behind and groped her breast area. The suspect then left the area in an unknown direction.
The suspect is a male, Hispanic or Asian, with a large build.
In response to these reported incidents, Northeast Division implemented proactive steps to address the matter and ensure the safety of visitors to the Silver Lake Reservoir, to include increased uniformed officer presence and foot patrols.
We are actively investigating this matter and encourage any additional victims to come forward and complete a police report.
