Metro is offering a competitive mini-grant opportunity for community-based organizations and nonprofits to help distribute unclaimed bicycles to high-need individuals across Los Angeles County. The Adopt-A-Bike program connects bicycles left on Metro’s bus and rail system with people who can use them to access work, school, services and other daily needs.
Community-Based Organizations are invited to a virtual workshop on July 8 to learn how to apply for Metro’s Adopt-A-Bike mini-grant. The session will review the application process, eligibility, program goals and how selected partners can redistribute unclaimed bikes to support sustainable mobility for high-need communities across Los Angeles County.
