LAKE DISTRICT, ENGLAND — Situated in the heart of the English Lake District, Windermere Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest courses in 
Cumbria. Located in the heart of the Lake District, the course is awe inspiring, with the natural rolling landscape providing protection for the course which measures a modest 5122 yards (par 67 with a standard scratch of 66).
Established in 1891, the course is unique – modest in length but challenging and offering spectacular views of Windermere and the surrounding fells and some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere in the UK.
Situated in a World Heritage Site with the stringent planning permissions of a National Park, the course has to manage without bunkers, but natural hazards including heather and bracken in the rough combined with narrow fairways and rocky outcrops ensures that the course provides a challenge to golfers of all levels and abilities.
With some of the best USGA standard greens in the country, paired with fantastic fairways, the course is famous for its excellent condition. The greenkeeping team work hard to ensure that throughout the year the quality of
