LOS ANGELES, CA — Two young men were killed while walking down the street in Harbor City on Sunday. Homicide detectives from Harbor Division are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect(s) who were seen driving away in a dark colored sport utility vehicle (SUV).
On November 27, 2011, around 5:30 p.m., Jorge Luis Rodriguez and David Jonathan Escobar, both 16-years-old, were walking together on the sidewalk on Senator Avenue at 254th Street when a dark colored SUV drove up alongside them. The occupant(s) of the SUV fired an unknown type of handgun multiple times striking both young men. After the shooting, the victims ran a short distance away, but soon collapsed.
