Featuring Capital Cities and DEK of Hearts, winner of NBC’s The Voice Mic Drop

PASADENA, CA — On December 19th, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® unveiled the highly anticipated lineup for the Grand Finale of the 137th Rose Parade® presented by Honda on Thursday, January 1, 2026. This spectacular celebration will feature an electrifying performance by the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling artist, Capital Cities and DEK of Hearts, America’s newly crowned Mic Drop winner on NBC’s “The Voice.”

The 2026 Rose Parade concludes with a vibrant, high-energy finale as Capital Cities unleashes their multi-platinum global juggernaut “Safe And Sound”—one of the most Shazam’d song in history, a track with billions of streams worldwide topping charts in 18 countries earning the artist MTV VMA and Grammy® nominations. They’ll be joined by Nashville based pop country trio DEK of Hearts, America’s just-voted vocal powerhouse and newly crowned Mic Drop winner on NBC’s “The Voice.”

With 24 explosive dancers tearing through a range of styles—from flappers to hip-hop—against a convoy of era-spanning classic cars, the grand finale bursts into a confetti-drenched, color-soaked celebration of joy and nostalgia. This is the unforgettable, replay-for-months moment that sends the Rose Parade out on the highest possible note.

The Voice partnership brings an exciting new layer of fan participation to the Rose Parade Grand Finale. Throughout the Knockout rounds, fan-favorite coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire each had one coveted Mic Drop button to use on a standout artist from their own team. Viewers at home then had the opportunity to vote among the four Mic Drop artists, and DEK of Hearts earned the most votes, securing their place on the Rose Parade stage as this year’s Mic Drop winner.
