Avoid Parking Hassles, Crowded Freeways by Using Public Transit
 
WHAT: The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is returning as an official transit partner of LA Pride to ensure attendees have convenient and eco-friendly transportation options for travel to the historic celebration. As part of its Ride with Pride campaign, Metro will wrap several of its buses. The buses will be adorned with vibrant Pride themed designs, showcasing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and enhancing the festive atmosphere for riders all summer long.In addition, Metro is activating two station “take overs” in honor of LA Pride. On Sunday, June 8, the two stations that serve the parade and block party – Hollywood/Highland Station will be renamed LA Pride Nation, and the Hollywood/Vine Station will be renamed Hollywood/Pride. Both stations will receive new signage and other fun co-branding. In addition, specially designed Pride commemorative TAP cards will be available at select ticket vending machines and will be distributed at the festival and parade.

For just $3.50 round-trip, parade goers can take Metro’s B Lines to LA Pride Nation or Hollywood/Pride stations. Metro has many Park & Ride lots servicing the county – parking is just $3.00 per day, payable onsite.
