Metro staff will host virtual and in-person community meetings to present an overview of the project and construction activities, a plan to relocate the bike lanes from Van Nuys Boulevard to Terra Bella Street, share updates on community outreach developments and provide information on small business mitigation programs.
The meeting agenda and presentation will be the same for both meetings; the in-person meeting will also feature an open house with information tables on various project disciplines, including design, construction, small business mitigation programs and more. Metro’s $3.57 billion light rail project will span 6.7 miles along Van Nuys Boulevard and connect new and existing local and regional transit services in the San Fernando Valley, including Metrolink, Amtrak, Metro G Line, and other planned Metro transit projects now in the works.
