The North Hollywood Woman’s Club invites interested women to attend its monthly luncheons held on the second Friday of each month from October to May. The club is a nonprofit organization engaged in supporting charitable, educational and social purposes. The Woman’s Club is open to any interested woman who lives within the local area. They have been active since 1914, having first been named “Lankershim Woman’s Club.”
The club was organized “to engage and operate exclusively for charitable, educational or social welfare purposes.” The name was changed to North Hollywood Woman’s Club on November 22, 1927. Meetings are held at 10 a.m. in the Oak Room of the Sportsman’s Lodge at 12833 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, CA. Reservations must be made by noon on the Monday prior to the second Friday luncheons.
