Elkins Ranch Golf Course, an 18-hole, PGA championship course in Fillmore, California, began as a 110-acre citrus ranch cultivated by the Elkins Family. In 1961 they began modifying the property to establish an 18-hole semi-private golf course complete with driving range and practice putting greens. The course has evolved over time and today exhibits the care and thought that went into its design, taking full advantage of its unique location and picturesque natural landscape. With a the rugged Sespe and San Cayetano Mountain ranges as a stunning backdrop and several elevated tees offering breathtaking views, the 6,302-yard course promises an unforgettable vision of the entire Heritage Valley.
Five lakes come into play on nine different holes, and a major highlight of a round is the signature 17th hole, a 440-yard par four where an accurate drive is required to hit the fairway 110 feet below. Be prepared for a challenging course with outstandingly maintained fairways and greens, sweeping panoramas and a quiet, friendly atmosphere. Elkins Ranch Golf Course’s PGA professional Joel Pyron and his team offers private, semi-private and juniors lessons all tailored to your specific needs.
