LOS ANGELES, CA — On Tuesday, December 3rd, Chairman Assemblymember Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles) and members of the Assembly Select Committee on Los Angeles County Homelessness will meet for an informational hearing to discuss homelessness and potential solutions for the county.

WHY:                  On the heels of a growing crisis where the number of Angelenos experiencing homelessness is at an all-time high, the Assembly Select Committee on L.A. County Homelessness is meeting to discuss the urgent need to enact solutions quickly to address homelessness. Local city and county leaders, as well as homelessness and housing policy experts, will discuss ongoing homeless initiatives and solutions for the Los Angeles region.

Assemblymember Miguel Santiago is the Chair of the Assembly’s Communications and Conveyance Committee, and a member of the Assembly’s Education and Health Committees and the California Latino Legislative Caucus. He represents the 53rd District composed of the cities of Los Angeles, Huntington Park, and Vernon.
