Golden Gate Bay Cruise

As San Francisco’s original sightseeing adventure, this one-hour narrated cruise sails under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island, and highlights important “landmarks” of San Francisco history, including life at the Barbary Coast during the Gold Rush, the building of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island’s history as an immigration station (often called the Ellis Island of the West, and hencean important US landmark), and the Federal Penitentiary of Alcatraz (8-12 daily sailings starting at 10am).  With an audio tour available in 12 languages (including Mandarin), prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $26; Youth (5-17) = $18; and Children under five = free.

 

Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise

The only cruise that sails under both the Golden Gate and Bay bridges, this 1½ hour loop passes the city’s entire bay waterfront and features San Francisco’s illustrious pastimes, unique architecture, natural history and Native American culture on exclusive headphone audio  available in 12 language choices (including Mandarin), The Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise departs 2-4 times daily from Pier 43½. California Twilight Cruise

On this casual two-hour cruise, passengers enjoy views of the city’s stunning sunset over the Pacific Ocean, live guitar entertainment, hearty appetizers from the buffet and a beer, wine or soda from the bar.  Nestled into the warm and cozy atmosphere of Red and White Fleet’s historic ferry boats, the cruise passes along the skyline of San Francisco with its modern skyscrapers and historic landmarks, goes past the infamous island of Alcatraz and cruises under the impressive San Francisco Bay Bridge and the legendary Golden Gate Bridge. Cruises during the Chinese New Year celebration are on Thursday through Saturday only at 5:30 p.m.  Prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $58; Youth (5-17) = $40; and Children under five = free.
