LOS ANGELES, CA — On November 2, 2013, around 10:30 p.m., a 13-year-old female was walking north on Lincoln Boulevard, approaching Milwood Avenue in the city of Los Angeles, when she was approached by the suspect, who was driving a white 4-door sedan.  The suspect asked her if she needed a ride, and the victim declined and continued to walk away.  The victim heard a door slam and footsteps approaching, and then felt the suspect grab her arm and pull her towards his vehicle.  The victim screamed and kicked the suspect, causing the suspect to release his hold on her.  The victim ran away and the suspect re-entered his vehicle and drove south on Lincoln Boulevard.

LAPD Pacific Area Robbery Detectives had a forensic artist sketch a composite of the suspect based on the victim’s descriptions.  The suspect was described as a 35 to 40-year-old Male White with brown hair and brown eyes.  He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds.
A similar incident occurred on October 16, 2013, around 7:00 a.m., at Artesia Ave and Crenshaw Blvd, in the city of Torrance.  According to the Torrance Police Department, a 16-year old female was approached by a suspect in a silver or gray Honda with 4 doors, demanding that she enter the vehicle.  The victim ignored him as he continued to demand that she get into his vehicle several times, and he even offered her money at one point.  The victim then located her friend and the suspect fled.  The composite drawing of the suspect, who was described in the Torrance incident as a Male, White in his late 30’s, with brown hair and brown eyes, is very similar to the composite of the Attempt Kidnap suspect in LAPD’s Pacific Area.  Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating other possible victims, and in identifying this suspect.
