FBI offering up to $1 million for information leading to arrest of Gregory Henderson Jr.
Indianapolis — On August 11, 2026, FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. O’Malley and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana Tom Wheeler announced the addition of Gregory Henderson Jr. to the “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. Henderson Jr. is the 542nd addition to the list. The addition comes with a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the arrest of Henderson Jr.
“The FBI does not close the book on dangerous fugitives. Whether it has been three months or three years, our commitment remains the same—we will relentlessly pursue Gregory Henderson Jr. until he faces justice,” said FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. O’Malley. “Now we are asking the public to help us—someone, somewhere knows where he is and one tip could lead to his arrest.”
Henderson Jr. is one of 31 individuals indicted by the Southern District of Indiana in an investigation involving international drug trafficking and dog fighting in Central Indiana.
Multiple law enforcement partners assisted the FBI in this investigation including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General (USDA-OIG), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF), Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC), Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
On August 25, 2023, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Henderson Jr. in the Southern District of Indiana for drug trafficking and dog fighting conspiracies. During a large-scale takedown of Henderson Jr.’s organization on August 31, 2023, he evaded arrest and has been on the run since.
Henderson Jr.’s alleged drug trafficking network, believed to be supplied by the Sinaloa Cartel, distributed dangerous narcotics including methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl into the Indianapolis community as well as the surrounding Midwest region. Henderson Jr., the alleged leader of a violent neighborhood-based gang located in Indianapolis, Indiana, was also allegedly engaged in a dog fighting criminal enterprise that caused severe abuse and death to numerous dogs.
“The increase in the reward from five thousand to one million dollars underscores the urgency and importance of locating Gregory Henderson Jr. His ties to violent cartel networks make him a continuing threat to our communities, and the time for him to be held accountable is long overdue,” said Tom Wheeler, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. “Anyone with information should know it is never too late to come forward. The victims in this case, the communities harmed by his drug trafficking and illegal gambling operations, and the many dogs subjected to brutal abuse deserve justice. Our office stands ready to prosecute Henderson Jr. to the fullest extent of the law.”
Henderson Jr. is described as a black male, 6 foot and 1 inch tall, and approximately 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may go by the following aliases: Grego; Whitey; Corree Williams.
In addition to Indiana, Henderson Jr. is known to have ties to Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Dayton, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; Lexington, Kentucky; and St. Louis, Missouri. He is considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, established in March of 1950, is a critical tool in the FBI’s efforts to bring dangerous fugitives to justice. It also underscores the power of public awareness in the pursuit of the nation’s most elusive and violent offenders. To date, 542 fugitives have been on the List, 502 have been apprehended or located, with 164 fugitives captured/located because of citizen cooperation.
