LAS VEGAS, NV – The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will commemorate three decades of iconic views, high-flying thrills and unforgettable moments with a 30th anniversary celebration on Thursday, April 30. The milestone event will feature live music, limited-time culinary offerings, gaming activations and property-wide experiences designed to honor the Tower’s legacy as a defining fixture on the Las Vegas skyline.
The anniversary celebration will be headlined by a poolside performance by Better Than Ezra at Swim & Social. The band will deliver an energetic, ‘90s-inspired set, kicking off an afternoon of electrifying entertainment. Doors will open at 3 p.m., with DJ Santos and Empire Records warming up the crowd ahead of Better Than Ezra taking the stage at 5 p.m. General admission tickets will start at $43, with pre-sale tickets available starting Friday, March 6, priced at $30 using the code BetterThan30. For groups, cabana packages will include 10 concert tickets and a bottle of choice, including vodka, gin, whiskey or tequila. Daybed packages will include four tickets and a bottle of choice. Guests looking to extend the experience can book The STRAT’s Better Than Ezra Show & Room Package, which will include two general admission tickets and 30% off room rates, available for stays Tuesday, April 28, through Sunday, May 3. Throughout the property, guests will discover anniversary-inspired offers and experiences. Atomic Golf will offer 25% off for hotel guests, locals and heroes; L.A. Comedy Club will feature a $30 all-you-can-drink special; and Tower admission for two will be priced at $30, with tickets available on The STRAT website using code STRAT30, and complimentary Tower admission for locals. Thrill-seekers will have the opportunity to enter a social media contest for a chance to be among the first 30 guests to experience SkyJump for $30.
The STRAT’s acclaimed restaurants and bars will join the celebration with limited-time features and menus. Top of the World Steakhouse will present a monthlong “Back to the ‘90s” menu featuring potato and Brie soup, sesame-crusted tuna and lemon meringue pie. 108 Drinks will serve $30 bottomless mimosas, while Tower Freeze will debut a commemorative 30th anniversary cup and a specialty anniversary cocktail, the Frozen Appletini crafted with Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka, blue raspberry, lemon and lime, priced at $15 and available throughout April. The celebration will also include a towering anniversary cake modeled after the iconic STRAT Tower.
Gaming activations will add another layer of excitement to the celebration. On Thursday, April 30, True Rewards members who earn 30 points can receive a commemorative STRAT hat through the 30th Anniversary Kiosk Game, and 30 Hot Seat winners will be selected throughout the day. STRAT True Local, Epic and Legit members can receive 30 free slot pulls on Tower Fortune twice during the month. On the casino floor, a 30th-themed Big Wheel activation will take place, and players who hit 30 on the roulette wheel will receive a commemorative chip and $30 match play.
As part of a surprise-and-delight promotion, Skylar Dice, general manager and senior vice president of The STRAT, will surprise 30 guests throughout the day with free slot play, one-time bets or by picking up their tab at select restaurants and lounges. The first 30 guests will also receive complimentary Tower admission.
The celebration will extend to catering and weddings. The first 30 couples to get married or renew their vows between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 can do so for $30 inclusive, with a complimentary upgrade to the private balcony on Level 112. Chapel in the Clouds is the only venue in Las Vegas located 800 feet above the Las Vegas Valley, offering magnificent views. Two chapels on Tower Level 103 offer ceremonies with panoramic views.
