Last year on June 20th, Alyeska Resort became the star of the show as NBC’s Today Show broadcast live from the breathtaking peak of Mount Alyeska in Alaska during the summer solstice. The event showcased the stunning beauty of Girdwood and Alyeska, a destination famous for its summer solstice and up to 22 hours of daylight.
Viewers were treated to a spectacular backdrop of towering mountains and lush landscapes as the show highlighted the region’s cuisine with Executive Chef, Walter Donadio, local Olympic athlete, Indigenous culture, top retail items to bring home and a special appearance from singer/songwriter Jewel.
