U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett joins a live online mobilization event with the latest No Kings Update, and candidates; Patty Garcia for Congress, Karina Villa for Illinois Comptroller, and Jane Kim for California Insurance Commissioner in multi-level effort to advance Defund the Oligarchs agenda and defeat Trump in the midterms
Washington, D.C. — As the 2026 midterms take shape, Our Revolution, the nation’s largest grassroots progressive organization, will host a national “No Kings. No Oligarchs.” strategy and organizing call on Monday at 8:30 PM ET, positioning the Defund the Oligarchs campaign as a direct challenge to billionaire dominance and corporate capture of the political system.
The call will spotlight growing alignment among lawmakers and candidates around the “Defund the Oligarchs, Fund the People” resolution introduced by Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Pramila Jayapal, Delia C. Ramirez, and Summer Lee. Organizers describe the resolution as a governing blueprint to tax extreme wealth, end corporate giveaways, dismantle dark money pipelines, and confront the structural corruption that allows billionaires and federal contractors to shape public policy for profit.
U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett will join the call, aligning with a governing strategy that centers working families over corporate interests. Congressional candidate Patty Garcia, Illinois Comptroller candidate Karina Villa, and California Insurance Commissioner candidate Jane Kim will also participate, each having rejected corporate PAC money and embraced the anti-oligarch platform in their campaigns.
The call will focus on how the anti-oligarch agenda is shaping midterm strategy nationwide. Speakers will discuss how candidates are positioning the Defund the Oligarchs framework as a governing commitment to materially improve people’s lives by directly challenging concentrated wealth.
In addition, Our Revolution leaders, with Christine Woods of Declaration for American Democracy, will outline plans to expand the nationwide “No Kings” rallies, describing them as the mass political expression of a growing movement demanding an end to billionaire rule and authoritarian governance. The call will function as a planning and coordination session to scale recruitment and build toward the next major nationwide mobilization on March 28.
Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution, said, “Voters understand that corruption in our system is not accidental. It is engineered through dark money, corporate capture, and billionaire influence. What makes this moment different is that we are seeing candidates and lawmakers step forward not just to name the problem, but to advance concrete solutions. Tax extreme wealth. End corporate giveaways. Refuse oligarch money. Build a governing agenda that actually delivers for working people.”
The call is aimed to spread awareness among Our Revolution’s 8-million-member grassroots network, connecting organizers, union members, and voters preparing for a defining midterm cycle centered on confronting billionaire power and restoring democratic accountability.
