Adopt a Pet; Pumpkin, Piper, Clover, Isabelle

These four little kittens were brought by a mama cat into our back yard. I quickly fell in love. I worked with a kitten rescue organization to catch them and help get them socialized with a loving foster mom. They are very playful, sweet, and somewhat shy until they get to know you. There are two boys and two girls. I would like to have them adopted in pairs so that they will always have a friend to play with. They are about 12-14 weeks old. I will describe the boys first:

“Pumpkin,” named for his orange tabby color, is the sweetest boy ever.

“Piper,” short for “Sandpiper” because he is a sandy color, has a very appropriate name.

“Clover” is a little tortoisehell girl with a surprised look on her face. She is super curious, feisty and playful.

“Isabelle,” or “Izzy” for short, was the last one to be rescued. They have their first round of shots, deworm, deflea, and they are spayed/neutered “fixed”.

I know you just want to squeeze me, thinking I’m a Steiff stuffed animal, but I’m a real live guy! My impeccable white fur is sporting a summer cut, and these long Bambi like legs are probably from a Bedlington Terrier, but I have Poodle-ness to spare! I’m probably best off with older kids or adults, but I have so much love to give. I’m sure you can see it in my face – there’s a long story behind these eyes about the life I lost when I came to a shelter. Maybe we could sit down and talk about it at Starbucks, while people “ooh” and “ahh” over me.

Don’t you think that “Lincoln” is an elegant sounding name? I guess when they saw my snowy white coat and long spaniel ears they figured I must be a quiet elegant gentleman. Don’t be fooled though– I’m a young dude who likes nothing better than playing with the guys or having a rough and tumble game of fetch. I’m only a year and a half old so I have tons of energy and I love to party! Pass the biscuits, please!

No Dogs, No Cats, Children (8 years and up) There are some dogs with sad stories around here, but I think I’ve got them beat. My family decided after 7 1/2 years that they didn’t want me any more. I don’t understand why. I’m a super friendly, sweet girl, and I don’t want to be in a kennel! I’m almost 8 years old, and for a big dog like me, that’s practically a senior citizen. I have tons of energy and lots of love to give, so please, if you have room in your life for a big girl with a big heart, come on in.

Hi, Etnie here…what a ride: I came to Pet Orphans as a single mother. Yep, teenage pregnancy case. I am only a year and a half or so. Duh. That’s what you get for trusting a Tomcat. Anyway, the way it goes, all my babies got adopted in a week and I have been sitting here ever since.

They called my Freud so I guess I must be a therapy dog. You can tell me all your troubles, and I’ll kiss them away! I’m pretty young and active though, so it might be a good idea for us to have our therapy sessions while we’re taking long walks together, OK? And I guess I need to go to school to complete my DD (doggie doctorate) so that I’m only giving positive vibes– After all, I wouldn’t want to make anyone crazy!
