“As the Ranking Member on the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, I know the sacrifices our men and women made in the Asia Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. Their military service and sacrifices continue to shape the world in which we live, which despite its problems, is infinitely better than the world in that era. Successive generations owe Mr. Buch our gratitude.
“I am working in Congress to ensure that veterans have access to quality health care and benefits. Of all the recognition I have received as a Member of Congress, I take great satisfaction in knowing that my voting record has earned an “A” rating from both the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion.”
