Ealing Golf Club Is The “Golf Course Of The Week”

LONDON, ENGLAND — Founded in 1898 and laid out by the distinguished golf course architect Harry S. Colt, Ealing Golf Club is the home of 18 holes of delightful but challenging parkland golf. The course’s general condition and presentation receives constant compliments, with top players rating our Greens as amongst the best they have ever played. Once on the course it’s hard to believe that this London golfing haven, located in Middlesex just off the A40 opposite the famous “Art Deco” Hoover Building, is only 8 miles from Marble Arch.

Ealing is a members club that warmly welcomes new members, visitors and societies. As well as Mens and Ladies sections, we have very active Junior and Seniors sections. The club provides support for new golfers, or those returning to the game after an absence, and runs popular Junior and Ladies Academies. We are proud to be nationally recognised as a junior and beginner friendly club with the recent award of England Golf’s top ‘High Achiever’ GolfMark accreditation.

The Club is also a fantastic venue for Weddings, Parties, Business Events and Conferences, providing a warm welcome, great food and service, with the flexibility to host everything from smaller gatherings to up to 170 guests. Looking out on a beautiful parkland setting, it’s ideal for a London wedding with that little something different.
The course, while not physically demanding, presents a true test of golf for players of all levels – a challenging Par 70, 6201 yard course (5667 yard, Par 72 for Ladies), featuring narrow tree-lined fairways, fast well-bunkered greens, 3 Par 3’s over 200 yards, with the river in play on several holes.
It’s a course that rewards good course management and accuracy, as well as a light touch and steady nerve on the greens. It has helped breed players of the highest standard in English amateur golf – as well as individual success, over the years Ealing has been English Champion Club four times and European Champions twice. Members find that their handicap travels well, while visitors need to bring their ‘A’ game.
The Course was originally laid out by James Braid and later re-designed by Harry S. Colt, one of the greatest of all golf course architects responsible for such courses as Sunningdale, the East and West courses at Wentworth, and Moor Park.
