“It’s not a private club, It just plays like one”
The architects of Robinson Ranch have a pedigree rooted deep in the game they love. Ted Robinson Sr. has designed over 170 of the most respected and challenging courses throughout the world: from Indian Wells Country Club in Southern California to Salhalee Country Club in Washington to Experience at Koele on Lanai in Hawaii to Lakewood Oiso in Japan. Ted Robinson Jr. is carrying the legacy further. Their vision? To design courses that bring club-level excellence to anyone with a true passion for golf. Robinson Ranch – the only course to bear the family name – is the realization of that longstanding dream.
Robinson Ranch’s 25,000 Square foot clubhouse, with its rustic ranch decor, adds to your experience by creating a comfortable environment in which to enjoy your post round festivities. Beautiful clubhouse features a fine dining restaurant, banquet hosting up to 300 guests, a private dining room, additional meeting space, terrace lounge.
25 miles north of Los Angeles surrounded by the spectacular Angeles National Forest, lies a golf club with more personalities than there are colors in a California sunset. Two 18-hole courses on par with any world-class private club yet they are open to the public. Over 400 acres of unspoiled, unpretentious beauty, yet to the unsuspecting, these courses can be challenging. The design scheme is rooted in the heritage of Old California, yet the features will redefine golf for the New Millennium.
The two courses, the Mountain course and the Valley course, meander through untouched stands of the sage and chapparral, California Sycamores and Coastal Live Oaks. You’ll encounter water hazards, yes, but also gorgeous waterfalls. But bring your wits along with your clubs, because this alluring beauty can be full of mischief.
True to the ” Ranch ” part of its name, Robinson Ranch evokes the timeless splendor of classic California. Big views and dramatic vista await you at every turn and tee. The undulating terrain is as gentle and rugged as cowhand’s heart. Among the richness of these surroundings, you ‘ll be delighted to find Robinson Ranch is a prototype for the future of the golfing experience, with features and conveniences sure to be imitated.
