Hawaii’s number one snorkel site is the marine sanctuary at Kealakekua Bay. The name “Kealakekua” means “Pathway to God” and the Mana (spiritual power or energy) can be felt here by all. It is truly a wonder of nature and by far one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the state. The large bay is so situated so as to ensure calm (lake-like) waters year round. Morning Snorkel Trip — Dolphin & Whale Watch

(7:45 – 12:00 daily) A four-hour adventure cruise to explore the historic Kona coast, sea caves & lava tubes en route to Capt. Cook’s Monument at Kealakekua Bay and the Place of Refuge. Guests will snorkel at these premier marine sanctuaries viewing many species of fish, eels, turtles, and corals. The adventure continues as we head out to find the dolphins and whales. Guests will learn about dolphins, whales and other ocean wildlife while observing them in their natural habitat. Snorkel gear, instruction & swim aids are included as well as fresh tropical fruit, snacks & cold drinks. Guests are asked to bring a towel, camera, sunscreen (no oils please) and a smile!
