The City of Van Nuys, the Mid-Valley Community Police Council, Community Police Advisory Board and business owners of Van Nuys, as part of the city’s Centennial, are pleased to announce the “Taste ofVan Nuys” community event on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
This FREE community event will be located inside the Van Nuys City Hall area off of Van Nuys Blvd. at 6262 Van Nuys Blvd. east of Van Nuys Blvd., between Erwin Street and Delano Street.
The Wild Bunch Car Show will be held on Delano Street, which is just south of the post office. Delano Street will be blocked off for the car show. Van Nuys Blvd. will be open to traffic. Parking is available in city parking lots, MTA lot just south of the Orange Line and available street parking.
